Barrett, Post - PJ's Pub Athletes of the Week

Kaylah Barrett of the women’s basketball team and Mukiya Post of the men’s basketball team have been named PJ’s Pub Concordia Stingers athletes of the week for the period ending March 8.

Barrett, a fifth-year guard, was named Player of the Game in the Stingers’ 54-47 semifinal loss at the RSEQ Final 4 tournament in Lennoxville, Que. last Thursday. She led all Stingers scorers with 20 points. She also added two rebounds and an assist.

A 23-year-old native of Brampton, Ont., Barrett is a Human Relations student at Concordia.Post, also a fifth-year guard, was a bright spot in a 74-60 semifinal loss to the McGill Redmen at the RSEQ Final 4 last Friday. He led all scorers in the game with 23 points. He made all 10 of his free throw shots. He also grabbed five rebounds and a steal. For his efforts, he was named the Player of the Game.

A 23-year-old student from Victoria, B.C., Post is majoring in History.
