Two members of the Concordia Stingers women’s soccer team were on the honor roll when the RSEQ announced its all-stars for the indoor season this morning.
Defender Alyssa Ruscio and midfielder Frédérique Labelle were named to the conference’s second all-star team.
The Stingers posted a 1-3-2 win-loss-tie record, finishing in fourth place out of seven teams.
Ruscio, a second-year athlete from Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Que., was named a game MVP in one game this winter.
Labelle, a fourth-year player from Montreal, collected a goal and an assist in six games. She was also the Stingers’ game MVP three times.
