Concordia Stinger defender Erica Geertsen was named to the second all-star team when the Quebec university women’s soccer conference announced its honor roll this week.
This is the third straight year that the Kirkland native has reached all-star status. She was also a second team all-star in 2005 and 2006. She started her career in 2004 and was named the Stingers’ rookie of the year for her strong debut.
This season the team captain played in 10 games, recording one assist.
Geertsen graduates this year with a Bachelor of Arts, major in Sociology.
