Travers, Allard named indoor soccer all-stars

Two members of the Concordia Stingers were on the honour roll when the Quebec university women's indoor soccer all-star team was announced earlier this week.

Defender Shannon Travers was named to the second all-star team. The second-year student from Dollard des Ormeaux, Que., led the Stingers in scoring with one goal and four assists in six games. With five points, she was tied for second place in RSEQ scoring. She was named game MVP on one occasion

Elizabeth Allard, a second-year mid-fielder from Drummondville, Que., was also on the second all-star team. She had one assist and one game MVP honour in six games.

The Stingers finished in third place out of seven teams in the league. Their win-loss record was 4-2.
