The wind and snow can’t keep the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees down. They left the nation’s capital early this afternoon and are expected to arrive in Montreal in time for the men's hockey game versus the Concordia Stingers at the Ed Meagher Arena tonight at 7:30.
However, the poor weather conditions have led to the cancellation of tonight’s men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader versus the Laval Rouge et Or in Ste. Foy, Que. The Stingers’ games have been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 8.
To show our appreciation to our devoted hockey fans who come to the Loyola campus arena tonight, the department of Recreation and Athletics has decided to waive the admission charge for the hockey game.
