Corinne Corcoran was the most dominant and explosive women's hockey player of her era. A prolific goal scorer and play-maker, she helped Concordia University win three consecutive Quebec championships.

In 1980-81, her first season with the Concordia Stingers, she scored 46 goals and 44 assists for 90 points in 37 games. This intelligent centre was the leading scorer in the QUAA with 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points in 12 games. At the conclusion of the season, she was named a league all-star, MVP of her team and Concordia Freshman Athlete of the Year.

The following year she led the team and Quebec conference in scoring. She amassed an impressive 51 goals and 42 assists in 33 games. She was named a QUAA all-star, team MVP and Concordia Female Athlete of the Year. In her final season, Corinne moved to defence to help the team. With her quickness and great vision, she once again ruled the university women's hockey scene and was a conference all-star.
