Six teams will brave the cold and head to Concordia University’s Ed Meagher Arena to compete in the 50th annual Theresa Humes Women’s Hockey Tournament hosted by the Stingers.
Joining the No. 6-ranked Stingers are their crosstown rivals, the McGill Martlets; the No. 7-ranked Guelph Gryphons, the Ryerson Rams, the Vermont Catamounts, an NCAA Division 1 team from Burlington, and Les Étoiles, a group of local all-stars including former Olympians Caroline Ouellette and Julie Chu.
The three-day tournament gets under way Dec. 29 and wraps up on New Year’s Eve. There will be three games a day.
