Lidia Fillion of the women's hockey team has been named the Subway-Concordia Stinger athlete of the week for the period ending Feb. 10.
Fillion, a forward in her second year with the Stingers, collected three goals in two games last week. She scored one goal in a 6-0 win over the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Feb. 9. Last Saturday she scored two goals, including the winner, in a 3-1 victory over the No. 1-ranked Montréal Carabins.
The 22-year-old student from Sherbrooke, Que., is working on a degree in Exercise Science.
