Myre, Mohsenin - PJ's Pub Athletes of the Week

Kayla Myre of the women’s soccer team and Ramin Mohsenin of the men’s soccer team have been named the PJ’s Pub Concordia Stingers athletes of the week for the period ending March 9.

Myre, a third-year athlete, was named the game MVP in an indoor contest versus the Montréal Carabins on Sunday. The team struggled in a 3-0 loss, but finished the regular season in fourth place with a 1-2-2 win-loss-tie record. The Stingers will face the UQTR Patriotes in the quarterfinals this Sunday.

A 22-year-old native of St. Hubert, Que. Myre is currently majoring in Child Studies at Concordia. 

Mohsenin, a third-year defender, scored both goals in a 2-2 tie with the Montréal Carabins in indoor soccer action on Sunday. His team finished the season in fifth place with a 2-3-1 record. The Stingers will meet the McGill Redmen in the quarterfinals on Sunday.

The 23-year-old student from Montreal studies Civil Engineering at Concordia.
