Mid-fielder Alyssa Ruscio was the only member of the Concordia Stingers women’s soccer program named to the RSEQ all-star slate for the indoor season announced earlier this week.
Ruscio, a first-year player from Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Que., was named to the second all-star team.
She participated in all five regular season games and was named MVP in one of them. She has proven to be a tireless contributor who does a lot of defensive work for the Stingers.
Ruscio is an Accounting major with a minor in Finance. Prior to joining the Stingers, she was an honor roll student and a member of the women’s soccer team at Dawson College.
The Stingers finished the indoor season with a 1-2-2 win-loss-tie record in fifth place out of seven teams.
