D'Onofrio, Treloar - PJ's Pub Athletes of the Week

Alexandria D’Onofrio of the women’s hockey team and Keegan Treloar of the football team have been named PJ’s Pub Concordia Stingers athletes of the week for the period ending Nov. 2.

D’Onofrio, a second-year centre, was instrumental in helping her team defeat the Carleton Ravens 4-2 at the Stingers home-opener on Sunday. She scored the first goal of the game, setting the pace for Concordia. It was her first goal in a Stingers’ uniform.

A 20-year-old native of Montreal, D’Onofrio is a Bio-Chemistry major at Concordia.

Treloar, who is a fourth-year kicker, connected on a 45-yard field goal with 27 seconds left to play to give the Concordia Stingers a 30-28 victory over the McGill Redmen in the 28th annual Shrine Bowl on Saturday. He had three field goals (13, 15 and 45 yards) and a single for a total of 10 points in the game. He was named the RSEQ Special Teams Player of the Week.

The 21-year-old student from Brandon, Man. is a Marketing major at Concordia.
