Stinger Athletics

Whether it's on the field or in the classroom, Concordia University's student-athletes excel. Since Concordia's inception the varsity program has produced hundreds of Academic All-Canadians and All-Canadians. In addition 18 individuals have won national sports awards. A Stinger athlete has also been awarded a Rhodes Scholarship.

The credit for Concordia's impressive record belongs to many people, starting with the Loyola College and Sir George Williams University athletes who laid down the proud traditions that exist today. The two prestigious institutions merged in 1974 forming Concordia University.
