The undefeated Warriors continued their winning ways with a narrow 59-53 victory over the Intruders in the Concordia Intramural Basketball League’s championship game held at Concordia gym on Nov. 28.
Led by captain Kevin Brathwaite, the Warriors combined a strong inside game with a tenacious defence to hold off the defending champions.
The Warriors defeated Victoria 56-32 in the semifinals on Nov. 21, while the Intruders rolled over FlyMamaJammas 63-45 to advance to the final.
Other intramural championships saw the Tigers and the Dolphins emerge from the pack to take their respective Concordia Indoor Soccer League titles in frenzied playoff action at the Concordia gym.
The Dolphins won the East Division championship with a 14-2 victory over Team Landry. In the West Division, the Tigers defeated West Bolton United 3-2 to win the title.
