Stingers Men's Hockey Academy
2023 Skills and Development Program
We are pleased to announce that the Concordia Stingers Men’s Hockey Academy will be returning for its 2nd season. This program, aimed at elite hockey players, will be supervised by Marc-André Elément (head coach) and Alexandre Jacques (assistant coach) with the Concordia Stingers men’s hockey team.
Over the 14 practices players will work on their skating abilities, stickhandling, shooting and passing. All these skills will be taught using game situations.
SESSION 1 (14 practices)
May 15 to June 28
Mondays and Wednesdays
7-8 p.m. - Hockey players in Grades 6, 7 and 8
8-9 p.m. – Hockey players in Grades 9, 10 and 11
SESSION 2 (14 practices)
July 3 to Aug. 16
Mondays and Wednesdays
7-8 p.m. - Hockey players in Grades 6, 7 and 8
8-9 p.m. – Hockey players in Grades 9, 10 and 11
PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE:
- Concordia Stingers Hockey Academy swag
- 2 tickets to a Concordia Stingers home game

COST:
Each session is $499, plus taxes

COACHES:
- Head coach of the Concordia Stingers since 2015
- Highly respected for attracting top young hockey talent from the QMJHL and beyond, and helping elite players take their skills to the next level
- Played five years with the Stingers, finishing his university career as the team captain
- OUA conference Coach of the Year in 2017
- Full-time assistant coach with the Concordia Stingers since 2021
- Hockey Canada certified high performance coach
- Spent eights years as director of player development with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL)
- Skills coach for NHL and professional players on the North Shore
- Drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 1996
