Two members of the Concordia Stingers men's rugby program have been named to the Canadian entry at the 2nd World University Rugby 7 on 7 Championship being held Aug. 3-6 in Rome, Italy.
Fly half Scott Gill scored 15 points as the Concordia Stingers defeated the McGill Redmen 20 18 to win the Quebec university men s rugby championship before more than 500 enthusiastic fans at Molson Stadium on Sunday.
The Concordia Stingers women s soccer and the men s rugby teams will see playoff action versus their cross town rivals at McGill University this weekend.
