THERESE BRISSON has been one of the most
prolific women's hockey players in Concordia history, earning admiration and
praise in each of her three years. A captain in her second season, she played
defence on three championship teams. She was named Concordia Female Rookie of
the Year in 1987 and Female Athlete of the Year in 1988 and 1989. Her
commitment to hockey continued to grow after her career with the Stingers.
Therese went on to represent Quebec and New Brunswick at several national
championships and she became a member of Canada's National Women's Hockey Team
in 1993, helping Canada win gold medals in the 1994 and 1997 World
Championships
