FRANK SHAUGHNESSY, SR., one of sport's most legendary characters as athlete, coach and 21-year president of the International Baseball League, not only contributed eight sons - all athletes - to Loyola, but served as coach of several football teams, most notably the 1928 Canadian intermediate champions.
