Win Your Tuition contest at women's hockey Feb. 20

Concordia University students you're going to want to save this date - Thursday, Feb. 20.

The Department of Recreation and Athletics is pleased to announce it will hold an immensely popular contest where one lucky Concordia University student will win tuition during the second intermission of the Concordia Stingers women’s hockey playoff game on Feb. 20.

Recreation and Athletics and Themptation are pleased to present this dynamic contest, offering an exciting evening of playoff hockey action and the chance to win $2000 towards tuition.

Current Concordia University students over the age of 18, full-time and part-time, with a valid student card are invited to purchase a ticket to the game and fill in a contest entry form at the front entrance to the Ed Meagher Arena.

Ten names will be pulled in a random draw and those contestants will be invited to compete in a chuck-a-puck contest during the second intermission. The winner of chuck-a-puck game will receive a cheque for $2000. (Eligibility will be verified).

To be eligible entrants must attend the women’s hockey game and be on the premises for the draw. Complete contest rules will be available on-site.

The Stingers finished first in the RSEQ standings and have been ranked the No. 1 team in the nation consistently throughout the season. They will have home-ice advantage throughout the playoffs, beginning with Game 1 of the conference’s best-of-three semifinal series on Feb. 20.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Ed Meagher Arena, located at 7200 Sherbrooke St. W.

Tickets for Concordia students are $5 online or $10 at the entrance to the game.
