Head coach Rastko Popovic is pleased to announce Félix-Antoine Guertin from the Cégep Édouard-Montpetit Lynx is the first commit to the Concordia Stingers men's basketball 2021 recruiting class.
“Félix-Antoine is a huge addition to our program,” said Popovic. “He’s an elite forward who can put the ball on the floor as well as shoot it from the three-point line. He has great size and is an excellent rebounder.”
The six-foot-seven forward played 18 games with the Lynx, averaging 16 points and 9.3 rebounds a game during the 2019-20 season. He led his team in both categories and ranked sixth in the RSEQ, also in both categories.
Guertin is an accomplished student. He received a RSEQ academic merit award in 2020. He will study Teaching English as Second Language at Concordia.
