The Stingers swept the best-of-the-three semifinal series. They also defeated the Carabins 3-0 last Thursday.

Montréal opened the scoring on a power-play goal from Kaleigh Quennec at 2:42 in the first period. Concordia rookie Jessymaude Drapeau scored her second goal of the playoffs to tie up the game 41 seconds in the second period.

There was no scoring in the final frame.

Alice Philbert was in nets for the Stingers. She turned away 16 pf 17 shots. Montréal goaltender Aube Racine gave up two goals on 26 shots.

The semifinal series win also guarantees the Stingers a berth at the eight-team national championship at the end of the month.

In the other semifinal series, the McGill Martlets and the Ottawa Gee-Gees are tied at one game apiece. The third and deciding game is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. in Montreal.
