Second-year Stinger forward Roxanne Galarneau was named to the RSEQ second all-star team when the conference announced its honour roll late Sunday afternoon.
She played all six regular season games, helping Concordia post a 3-3 win-loss record. She scored four tries, making her the second leading scorer on the Stingers.
The Actuarial Math student from Mirabel, Que. is currently helping her team in the RSEQ playoffs. She was named the game MVP in a 23-15 victory over the Montréal Carabins in a consolation semifinal on Saturday.
Galarneau and the Stingers will face the Carleton Ravens this coming weekend on the road. The winner of the game will finish in third place in the eight team Quebec conference.
