Stingers women's rugby downs Montréal 43-14

The Concordia Stingers women’s rugby team delivered an impressive road victory on Saturday, defeating the Université de Montréal Carabins 43-14 at CEPSUM.

Sarah Montminy earned team MVP honours with a dominant performance, scoring two tries while completing 100% of her tackles. Megan Allard, Penelope Anderson, Mahalia Robinson, and Madeleine McTavish also found the try line to fuel the Stingers’ attack. Robinson added four successful conversions to round out the scoring.

With the win, Concordia improves to 3-2 on the season, moving into third place in the RSEQ standings. The Stingers will look to keep the momentum going when they return home to face Sherbrooke on October 4 at 1 p.m.
