The Concordia Stingers women’s rugby team capped off their regular season in style on Saturday afternoon at Concordia Stadium, rolling past the Sherbrooke Vert & Or with a commanding 60-7 victory.
Mahalia Robinson led the way with a standout 18-point performance, scoring two tries and adding four successful conversions. Maddie McTavish chipped in with a try and a conversion of her own, and her all-around impact earned her Stingers MVP honours.
Megan Allard and Sarah Montminy each crossed the line twice, while Penelope Anderson and Olivia Miller also added tries to round out the scoring.
With the win, the Stingers finish the RSEQ regular season in third place. They’ll now turn their focus to the playoffs, where they’ll host the second-place Ottawa Gee-Gees in a semifinal showdown on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 12 p.m. at Concordia Stadium.
