Emmy Fecteau, Maxim Trépanier - Athletes of the Week

Emmy Fecteau of the women's hockey team and Maxim Trépanier of the men's hockey team have been named the Concordia Stingers athletes of the week for the period ending Feb. 5, 2023.

Fecteau, a third-year forward, collected five points in two road victories last week. She had a goal and three assists in a 6-2 win over the McGill Martlets last Thursday. She also chipped in with an assist in a hard-fought 3-2 win over the Bishop’s Gaiters on Sunday. With 11 goals and 17 assists in 20 games, she is the leading scorer on the Stingers and ranks second in the conference.

The 23-year-old from St. Odilon, Que. is studying Teaching English as a Second Language at Concordia.

Trépanier, a second-year left wing, is enjoying an impressive scoring streak that helped the Stingers pick up another two victories last week. He had a hat trick in a 4-1 win over the Ottawa Gee-Gees last Friday. The following night he chipped in with a goal and an assist as Concordia edged the Carleton Ravens 3-2. He’s collected seven goals and four assists for 11 points in his last four games.

The 23-year-old student-athlete from Candiac, Que. is enrolled in the Human Relations program at Concordia.
