The Concordia Stingers women’s hockey team wrapped up 2025 on a high note, earning back-to-back wins over the Montréal Carabins to head into the holiday break with an impressive 12–1 record.
On Friday, Nov. 28, the Stingers controlled the game from start to finish in a 5–1 victory. Courtney Rice opened the scoring, followed by a pair of goals from captain Jessymaude Drapeau. Lexi Bedier and Rosalie Parent rounded out the offense, while goaltender Belle Mende stopped 21 shots to secure her fourth win in as many starts this season.
Two days later, Concordia and Montréal went head-to-head again, with the Stingers taking a tight 3–2 decision. Katia Pelowich got things started, Parent added another, and Émilie Lavoie scored the eventual game-winner. Jordyn Verbeek turned aside 16 shots, improving to 8–1 on the year.
November was exceptional for Drapeau, who finished the month with 9 goals, 3 assists, and 12 points in 9 games. She now leads the RSEQ in both goals (11) and points (17).
The Stingers sit first in the RSEQ and hold the No. 2 national ranking in U SPORTS. They return to action on Dec. 13 when they play Team Italy at the Verdun Auditorium, then start back up the RSEQ regular season on Jan. 16 when they host McGill at home.
