Concordia Stingers Angela Di Stasi and Alynn Doiron were among the honorees when the QSSF announced its women’s hockey all-stars and award winners yesterday.
Di Stasi, a fifth-year centre from Toronto, was named to the second all-star team. She was the leading scorer on the Stingers with seven goals and three assists for 10 points in 17 games. She finished 11th overall in league scoring.
Doiron, a first-year defender from Antigonish, N.S., was selected to the all-rookie team. She had four assists in 18 games.
The Stingers finished the year in fourth place with a win-loss 4-14 record in the QSSF. Their season ended last week when they were eliminated in the conference semifinals.
