El Salvador's Sebastien Rondeau honoured to join soccer Stingers

Head coach Greg Sutton is pleased to announce Sebastien Rondeau, a talented midfielder who recently represented El Salvador in the U20 World Cup qualifying stages, has committed to the Concordia Stingers men's soccer team.

“We are really excited to have Sebastien join our team this coming fall,” said Sutton. “He brings with him a lot of high-level soccer experience from playing in international games. This helps his level of game maturity and his ability to help control the game in the middle of the field.”

Scouting reports describe him as a defensive midfielder who is tireless and plays with both feet. He is also known as a strong passer and tactically focused.

Rondeau played for the U20 and U17 El Salvador national teams. He also played for two first division clubs – 11 Deportivo F.C. and Sonsonate F.C.

"Becoming a student-athlete, representing Concordia University and studying at the John Molson School of Business is an honor,” said Rondeau. “I am ready to wear and defend the maroon and gold. VAMOS Stingers!"

He will study Supply Chain Operations Management at Concordia.
