Men’s hockey racked up 2 more road wins last week. They are still first in the OUA and third in U SPORTS with a 20-2-3 record and 43 points.
The Stingers shutout the Laurier Golden Hawks 3-0 on Friday, Jan. 31. The goal-scorers were forwards Mikael Huchette and Edouard Charron, and defenceman Sean Larochelle. Goaltender Jordan Naylor made all 24 saves for the shutout.
Men’s hockey then defeated the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 5-1 on Feb. 1. Forward Daniel Agostino scored a hat-trick, forward Isiah Campbell scored a goal, and Larochelle contributed another goal. Goaltender Nikolas Hurtubise made 27 saves for the win.
Men’s hockey will be back at the Ed Meagher Arena for their last home game of the season on Friday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. to face the Ridgebacks for a rematch.
