The Stingers are offering Concordia University staff and faculty free tickets to the men's hockey game versus the Queen's Gaels on Friday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ed Meagher Arena on the Loyola Campus.
Staff and faculty may reserve four free tickets for the event and invite family members and friends to join them. To cheer on the Stingers at this exciting event, staff and faculty must claim their tickets in advance using their Concordia University email. The men’s hockey team is enjoying a strong season and has clinched second place in the 10-team Ontario University Athletics East conference.
The Stingers are led by captain Phélix Martineau (Industrial Engineering), high-scoring forward Tyler Hylland (Human Relations) and veteran defenceman Kyle Havlena (Marketing). A rookie to keep an eye on is goaltender Jonathan Lemieux (Economics) who has been impressive all season long
Everyone’s favorite mascot Buzz will be on hand to greet everyone and take photos.
The Stingers are honoured to celebrate all the hard work of the university’s dedicated employees and hope you will be able to join us.
The arena is located at 7200 Sherbrooke St. W. in N.D.G.
The Department of Recreation and Athletics reserves the right to terminate the offer if the Ed Meagher Arena reaches its seating capacity.
