Duff, Bryan named PJ's Pub Athletes of the Week

Jennifer Duff of the women's soccer team and Andrew Bryan of the men’s soccer team have been named the PJ’s Pub Concordia Stingers athletes of the week for the period ending Oct. 21.

Duff, a fourth-year forward, scored five of the Stingers’ six goals in two victories last week. She had three goals in a 4-0 victory over the Bishop’s Gaiters last Friday. She scored both Concordia goals in a 2-0 win over the UQAM Citadins on Sunday. She scored the winning goal and was the MVP in both games. She has 12 goals and three assists in 12 games this season.

A 23-year-old native of Moncton, N.B., Duff is currently studying Urban Planning at Concordia. 

Bryan, a first-year forward with the Stingers, scored the lone goal in Concordia’s 1-0 victory over the UQAM Citadins on Sunday. He was also named the game MVP. He has played seven games this season, picking up four goals and one assist.

The 23-year-old student from Dollard des Ormeaux, Que. studies Philosophy at Concordia.
