The Concordia Stingers are pleased to invite you and your families to take part in an exciting day of activities this Saturday at the opening of the newly renovated Ed Meagher Arena on Concordia University’s Loyola campus in N.D.G.
From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. everyone is welcome to bring their skates and helmets to the rink and try out the new ice surface. Join Stinger athletes and the ever-popular Buzz at the skate. You can also enjoy hot chocolate free of charge.
From 1 to 2 p.m. everyone is invited to stay for lunch. Bring a picnic or buy your meal at the Stinger Café. During this time, there will be craft tables and face-painting for the youngsters.
Wrap up the day with an exciting university men’s hockey game between the Stingers and the Waterloo Warriors, beginning at 2 p.m.
The Ed Meagher Arena is located on the Loyola Campus, 7200 Sherbrooke St. W.
There is no charge to skate or attend the hockey game.
