Head coach Tenicha Gittens is pleased to announce Coralie Dumont, an exceptional player from the Champlain College Saint Lambert Cavaliers, has committed to the Concordia Stingers women’s basketball program.
“Coralie brings the size and length we need at the guard position,” said Gittens. “Her shooting ability from the three will stretch and open up the floor us. Her ability to post-up smaller guards and face-up post players will also be an important asset to our team.”
Dumont, who is six foot one, is currently averaging a double double (10.6 points and 10 rebounds a game) with the Cavaliers in the RSEQ’s Division 1 league.
“Coralie has the potential to be one of the best players in our conference,” said Gittens. “We are extremely excited to add her to the Stinger family.”
Dumont, who is a native of Boucherville, Que., is in her third year with the Cavaliers. She has also been recognized for her academic accomplishments at Champlain Saint Lambert. She is a CCAA Scholar Athlete.
