Stingers close regular season with a 77-54 road win over UQAM

Concordia Stingers women's basketball wrapped up the regular season in dominant fashion Saturday, earning a 77-54 victory over the UQAM Citadins women's basketball on the road.

Serena Tchida led the way with a double-double, pouring in 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Fabiola Lamour also controlled the glass, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds to help Concordia dictate the tempo on both ends of the floor.

Tchida caps off a stellar regular season atop the RSEQ leaderboard, averaging 17.6 points per game — best in the conference — while also leading the league in rebounds with 10.7 per game.

The Stingers close the regular season with a 6-10 record, securing fourth place in the RSEQ standings.

They now shift their focus to the playoffs, where they will travel to Quebec City to face the Laval Rouge et Or women's basketball in the RSEQ semifinals on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
