There will be a different setup for entering Concordia stadium when the 2010 Concordia Stingers football team plays its first game at Concordia stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Due to the PERFORM Centre construction project on the south side of the Loyola campus, all fans will enter the stadium grounds at the east end of field. (Click here to see map) .
All the traditional entertainment and services will run as usual. The gates open at 11:30 a.m. and the barbeque will be running. The family zone with face-painting, a bouncy castle and craft table will be ready for the children.
The Spirit Team and Buzz will be there to entertain the crowd. There will also be Hamster Ball races at halftime.
Of course the No. 10-ranked Stingers will be ready to meet the No. 7-ranked Montréal Carabins. Both teams won their games last week and head into Saturday with unblemished records.
Concordia stadium is located at 7200 Sherbrooke St. W. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
If you can’t make the game, you can still follow all the action on TV by tuning into Radio-Canada (also on Web cast at SRC Web site), on radio with Team 990 or on Twitter at twitter.com/the_stingers .
