QB Reid Quest to train with Alouettes

Concordia Stinger quarterback Reid Quest has been invited to participate in the Montreal Alouettes training camp this weekend.

Quest will join quarterbacks and coaches from several CIS schools at this Alouettes’ initiative which is designed to help develop Canadian university quarterbacks and coaching.

“I’m just excited for the opportunity,” Quest said. “I was always told when you get an opportunity like this, go in there and keep your mouth shut and your ears open. I plan to take what I learn from the weekend and translate it into wins on the football field.”

Quest will undergo a physical tonight and then participate in two days of practice and one day of meetings.

Playing in nine games last season, Quest completed 118 of 192 passes for 1548 yards. He threw five interceptions and 11 touchdowns.

The native of Regina came to Concordia last season after an accomplished career with the Regina Thunder of the Canadian Junior Football League.
